A number of photos were tweeted on May 22, allegedly showing molds of the highly anticipated 2017 iPhone lineup. These photos show the sizes of the iPhone 8 (aka “X”/”Edition”) compared to the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.

Expectations are for Apple to announce 3 new iPhones in 2017: 2 LCD-display “S” cycle upgrades to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, alongside a dramatic redesign, known as the iPhone 8, iPhone X, and iPhone Edition (10th anniversary iPhone model), with an edge-to-edge OLED display.

The photos line up with unconfirmed details circulating the web recently, especially the alleged dimensions of the new iPhone.

Leaked iPhone 8 Molds

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”MacRumors” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”12″]The mold of the so-called “iPhone 8” is pictured between the two iterative models, which shows the redesigned handset isn’t much bigger than the 4.7-inch iPhone 7S chassis on the right hand side. Despite the similarity, reports suggest the redesigned phone could pack a 5.8-inch display that’s closer in size to the screen on the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus. A lack of bezels at the top and bottom of the device are said to enable the larger OLED area.[/perfectpullquote]
